Rachel Newton

Singer, harpist and fiddler Rachel, a founder member of The Shee and the Emily Portman Trio and new band The Furrow Collective, is much in demand as a musician on the folk scene, including tours and recording sessions for singers such as Karine Polwart and Blue Rose Code. Her new release, Changeling (due out in September), marks an opportunity for Rachel to place her solo work at the forefront in a live setting both solo and in a trio with Lauren MacColl on fiddle and Mattie Foulds on percussion.
