Melodeon Beginners – Part 2

A chance for beginners to explore the instrument and repertoire in more depth. This workshop will focus on playing traditional English repertoire and style, as well as playing with other musicians, and is suitable for players who already have some basic knowledge of the instrument (ie can play simple tunes from memory), and who have their own instrument.

You don’t need to be able to read music notation, but a basic knowledge of music (scales, chords, time signatures) will help.

Tutor Simon Care is highly-respected melodeon player and workshop leader, well-known through his work with Edward II, The Albion Band, Whapweasel, Tickled Pink and many other projects.

Tea/coffee provided. Snack bar open at lunchtime.

Suitable for ages 15 and over.
