Derek Nash's Sax Appeal

Following the launch of their Funkerdeen album at The Stables in February 2014, Sax Appeal will once again be bringing together five of the finest sax players in the UK along with a first-class rhythm section for an exciting evening of jazz, blues and funk.

Leader Derek Nash is an award-winning saxophonist in his own right and received the British Jazz Award for best CD in 2012 (Joyriding). Performing alongside him will be Paul Booth (Steve Winwood Band), Simon Allen (Stan Tracey Quartet), Bob McKay (Matthew Herbert Big Band), Scott Garland (Pete Cater Big Band), Mike Bradley (Thriller, West End), Phil Scragg (Just East of Jazz) and Pete Adams (Yusuf Islam, Nelson Rangell).
