Footsteps

Matthew’s sister Elizabeth disappeared twelve years ago. She was last seen at Harborough Theatre where she worked, and although Matthew is no closer to finding her, he often revisits the place to continue with his investigations, feeling that he is somehow closer to her there.

During a freak accident Matthew is knocked unconscious only to awake in a time before the theatre even existed, and trying to save another young woman at the “Green Dragon Inn”, the pub that held the site before the theatre. Can he save Hannah like he couldn’t save Elizabeth? Are the ghosts of his past destined to haunt him forever? Can he ever be free?

“Footsteps” is an ambitious new play based in part on the history of Harborough Theatre, the ghost whose footsteps are heard there and our own personal ghost stories.
