Handel's Messiah
Following a successful concert of Mozart's Requiem in Nottingham earlier this year; the Mansfield Choral Society is delighted to be sharing their joy of singing with this their civic concert.
Joined by new voices from the local community, they perform Handel's hugely popular sacred oratorio, Messiah, as part of the Choral Society's 40th anniversary celebrations.
Soloists are Abigail Broughton (soprano), Meili Li (counter-tenor), Richard Roddis (tenor) and Rene Bloise Sanders (baritone). The Helix Ensemble will accompany the performance conducted by choir and orchestra Musical Director, Peter Siepmann.

Founded in 1974, the Mansfield Choral Society is a friendly choir of around 100 members of all ages.
