Jacques Brel: Une Vie A Mille Temps

Gambolling Arena's acclaimed musical celebration of the life of Jacques Brel comes to Manchester for 2 nights only.

Born in Belgium in 1929, Brel became the 'Voice of Paris' during the 1950s and 60s, writing over 300 songs. He is regarded as one of the 20th century's most talented singer-songwriters, and his work inspired musicians such as David Bowie, Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen.

This new piece of writing uses the viewpoint of Brel's daughters, intermingled with their fathers songs and thoughts, to tell the story of the great chansonnier. A must for fans of Brel and for those wanting to know more about this great man.
