The Words
Hailing from the Tameside area in Manchester, brought together by luck, chance, but most likely destiny. Lyrically deep, musically profound, will make you smile, break your heart and fill you with a feeling of vitality never before deemed possible via the means of audio. Songs filled with infectious melodies, soft, yet stubborn and angry in all the right places. Cheeky and witty, diverse, yet distinctive. A sound derived from the fun and struggles of everyday life, dripping with a hunger and a drive to improve.

Alt-Blues-Rock band based in Manchester. Previously a five-piece, they downsized to a classic four-piece before the move to Manchester, and developed a more bluesy rock sound. They have built a reputation as a hard-gigging 'old school' band, a tight unit who are benefiting from living and learning together in the vibrant Manchester music scene.
