A Christmas Carol

York Theatre Royals associate company, The Flanagan Collective, have teamed up with Manchester based producers Hartshorn-Hook to present their critically acclaimed version of A Christmas Carol, which opens at Manchester's newest pop up theatre The Great Northern Playhouse this December before heading to York.

A Christmas Carol is an original and interactive production written by North Yorkshire playwright, Alexander Wright and produced by Manchester based Hartshorn–Hook Productions that will take place in a purpose built venue in the Great Northern Playhouse from 1st–19th December.

Wright has drawn on elements of the Dickensian Classic famous works and has developed two man show with a twist that puts the audience at the centre of the classic tale.

The audience assume the ghost of Christmas Present as the interval launches the audience into the Fezzwig's ball with a two course dinner presented by the city’s very own.
