The Night From Another Place

A Twin Peaks and David Lynch-inspired night for the gifted and the damned...

25 years ago this March, Special Agent Dale Cooper stepped through the red velvet doors in Glastonberry Grove for the finale of Twin Peaks - arguably one of the best and most iconic TV shows in history. Those who remember the finale will recall the words spoken to our favourite FBI agent: "I'll see you again in 25 years. Meanwhile..."

Well, meanwhile and 25 years have been and gone, so in honour of our Coop (maybe?) returning to us, we've decided to throw a Twin Peaks and David Lynch inspired night of fun and music, with enought glamour to interest Audrey, enough music to get Leland dancing and enough debauchery to stir Leo from his slumbers...

There's no need for any petroglyph maps to decipher with Andy - the event is downstairs at Retro Bar on Sackville Street and it's happening on Saturday 19th April 2014, from 10pm to 3am. There'll be DJs spinning a wide range of music from blissful ambience to dark post-punk, and an emphasis on embracing the weird. Come in whatever you fancy - more is more - and Twin Peaks or Lynch inspired fancy dress is encouraged. Indeed, there'll be a prize for the best costume on the night. Hopefully the judging will go off better than the Miss Twin Peaks contest.
