Artists in residence Stand + Stare Collective have made a selection of artefacts which were once (or still are) considered 'everyday'.

Each of these objects tells an important story about Manchester's role in the Industrial Revolution, as a modern city and about the lives of its people.

You're invited to pick up and examine the objects, while animations and photographs illustrate their stories, and oral histories reveal their secrets. Here's a peek at a few of the everyday relics on display.
