Every Step: The Design Process of Joseph Hartley Launch

Launching on Saturday 23 March 2013, from 2pm, they will have FREE celebratory drinks and nibbles as well as a brand new exhibition to feast your eyes upon.

Star of the show, Joe Hartley, will be demonstrating his collection, The Makery, by showing us some of his bread making skills! Join in and learn a bit about what it takes to make and form bread and maybe leave with a snack or two!

What's more, musicians from the Royal National College of Music will accompany the launch as part of the RNCM in the City concert series, which celebrates the RNCM's 40th anniversary.

Joe was selected as winner of the MMU Graduate Solo Exhibition Award in 2012 and MCDC can't wait to have his beautiful, utilitarian objects under their roof this March. Joe was also awarded at New Designers in London this year, as well bagging his own full-length feature article in December 2012's issue of CRAFTS magazine.
