The Musicians of the Globe is an early music ensemble acclaimed for its warm, colourful and passionate approach to early repertoire, and for its very successful collaborations with folk musicians such as Richard Thompson. Associate artists of Manchester's Bridgewater Hall, the ensemble is directed by Philip Pickett and features violin, recorder, bandora, cittern, lute and bass viol.
