The Modern Soul are a 20 something, 5 piece, working class, Rock’n’Roll band from Stoke Newington, North London
'The Modern Soul' was formed after songwriter Rob O'Connor split from his previous band in July 2011. After performing a number of solo shows the guitarist decided that while going solo was a liberating experience he missed the whole camaraderie that goes with being in the studio or on tour with 5 other lads. So Easter 2012 the concept for ‘The Modern Soul’ was put into action.
