Acclaimed Swedish clarinettist Martin Fröst joins the Academy for a vibrant evening of music. The concert opens with a rare opportunity to see the Academy perform one of their most popular recorded works, Eine Kleine Nachtmusik. In the second half of the concert, the orchestra presents Angels of Dance, an energetic collection of spirited dances; from Grieg and Schumann's folk-style pieces to Brahms' lively dance tunes inspired by Hungarian themes. The concert concludes with a collection of Klezmer dances, arranged by Martin's brother Goran.
