Rock Pop & Vox - Holloway Arts Festival Closing Party: Sergeant Buzfuz + Project Adorno + ToeJam n Earl + Diego Brown & The Good Fairy + John Arthur
A last hurrah of power-chords, synth-pop, indie and funk to see the Holloway Arts Festival to a fitting close.
South London-based Sergeant Buzfuz are based around the songwriting talents of Joe Murphy. Joe Murphy's songs are a mixture of the pop, post-punk and folk he grew up listening to in Sheffield and the Irish story-telling tradition. Darling of the non-mainstream music press, expect some beautifully melodic pop infused with the experimentalism and intelligence of Badly Drawn Boy.
Sergeant Buzfuz tour dates
Project Adorno - Praveen Manghani and Russell Thompson - describe themselves as 'electronic beat-poets who love libraries, Germaine Greer and the London Underground'. Think of Kraftwerk meeting the Krankies at a Blur gig.
Project Adorno tour dates
Sax-sational north London funk outfit, guaranteed to get the audience on their feet and boogie late into the night.
ToeJam n Earl tour dates
Unusual and ever so slightly off-the-wall outfit described as 'The Carpenters in a lost weekend in Twin Peaks!'
Diego Brown & The Good Fairy tour dates
