Sunday Masterclass: Whisky vs Rum

This masterclass will investigate both whisky and rum, and find out, given a particular time and place, which drink works the best.

Whisky expert Annabel Meikle and international El Dorado rum ambassador Stef Holt will be in attendance as well as guest star referee Dave Broom, author of books on both spirits.

The competition will be simple: first, a drinking situation will be chosen – a time when whisky or rum would be a great choice. Stef and Annabel will then choose their weapons, a rum and a whisky respectively. We will taste them and, with Dave’s help, choose the best spirit for the situation. We’ll be looking at three different times to have a drink, and will be trying a total of six spirits.

Expect an interesting and informative masterclass with some great whisky and rum, as well as a healthy dose of fun.
