The Blitz Party

Pin up your victory rolls and wave your Union Jack with pride, dust off your stripes and polish your medals. Turn out that light and pile into our East End air raid shelter because The Blitz Party is back with a bang on Saturday 13th September 2014.

The venue will be transformed into a wartime air shelter with a swing dance hall, a live music stage, and a bunker complete with sandbags, searchlights, blackout curtains, oil lamps and military bunk beds. Ration books will replace bar menus and scarce provisions will line the walls.

Ladies, don your lipstick and tea-dresses and draw on those stockings. Gentlemen dust off your medals and wear your uniforms with pride. The Blitz Party returns to London for a blowout party where dancing and neighbourly spirit are the order of the evening.

Dress Code - 1940s glam, home front utility clothing and allied uniform all welcome.
