The Swedish band have announced UK and European tour dates in May 2013 including London's Village Underground on 13th of May.
Elias Araya, José González and Tobias Winterkorn release the first single off their self-titled second album, set for release on April 22nd through City Slang. 'Line Of Fire' is the first new material from the band since the release of their 2010 acclaimed album 'Fields'.

Junip
Junip was formed in Gothenburg, Sweden in the late '90s by Jose Gonzalez (guitar, vocals), Elias Araya (drums) and Tobias Winterkorn (organ, moog). Their first 7-inch came out in 2000, followed in 2006 by the self-released 'Black Refuge' EP. Junip's sound will be familiar to those who have listened to Gonzalez's critically acclaimed solo records, with organs, synths, and drums featured alongside his nylon stringed guitar and distinctive voice. The songs are often dynamic, melodic and shadowy, with a remarkable sonic approach that is simultaneously intimate and atmospheric.
