Will Gompertz: Modern Art And The Media
The BBC’s arts editor, Will Gompertz, discusses art within the media and his latest publication, What Are You Looking At? 150 Years of Modern Art in the Blink of an Eye. Joining the BBC in December 2009, Will’s newly created role signified the corporation’s commitment to wider broadcasting of the arts and improved collaboration with art institutions. Prior to this, he spent seven years working for Tate as director of Tate Media, where he was responsible for Tate Online, the UK’s most popular art website, and Tate Etc, the UK’s highest-circulation art magazine.
