It's A Swing Thing
Our monthly swing dance night returns with more live music for a flappin' swanky, shoe shuffling fun time.Lead by London's finest female drummer, with a collection of well-worthy troopers... the spiffing Old Hat Jazz band plays hot hot jazz favourites of the 1920s and 30s as well as hefty dose of jolly old ragtime. Lead by their love of Bix Biederbeck, Louis Armstrong, Kid Ory's Creole Jazz, King Oliver, Earl Hines, Fats Waller and beyond.they've most definitely earned the right to relay these greats for the pleasure of your twinkle toes.
Plus, a Swing Patrol dance class to kick the night off from 7:30pm - all abilities welcome.
