Rip Roarin Roots
Take a walk down roots alley with Hubert Murray and his killer old time and roots band The Hot Rock Pilgrims alongside some of the best folk, blues and bluegrass acts in London.
This month they are excited to announce their first themed night at the Ritzy, playing songs from the legendary bluegrass band Hot Rize with special guest Hattie Whitehead and band.
Daughter to a jazz musician and a poet, Hattie has been singing since she can remember, taping her first album at the tender age of 3. Artists like James Taylor, Joni Mitchell, John Martyn and Nick Drake have shaped her taste in music from her early years, and her love for different styles of music is reflected in her writing; folk based songwriting with a contemporary twist.
