Never miss another '10cc's Graham Gouldman & Friends' show
Heart Full Of Songs: 10cc's Graham Gouldman & Friends + Garron Frith
Anyone who's attended a 10cc concert in recent years is likely to have seen band co-founder Graham Gouldman's opening acoustic set, featuring some of the hits he wrote for other artistes.
The success of those performances, in which fellow 10cc band members back Gouldman, has evolved into Heart Full of Songs, which plays a more significant role as opening act on this autumn's 28-concert 10cc tour.
Taking it a stage further in spring 2013, under the banner of Graham Gouldman's Heart Full of Songs, Gouldman and his 10cc bandmates Rick Fenn, Mick Wilson and Mike Stevens will give a series of stand-alone, 90-minute acoustic performances in Intimate settings
The shows will feature 10cc classics such as I'm Not In Love and Dreadlock Holiday; pre-10cc Gouldman hits such as Bus Stop and Look Through Any Window (written for The Hollies), Heart Full of Soul and For Your Love (The Yardbirds) and No Milk Today (Herman's Hermits); as well as songs from his highly acclaimed new solo album Love And Work, and some surprises.
10cc's Graham Gouldman & Friends
Probably best known as one of the founding members of 10cc, Graham Gouldman has been a successful songwriter since the '60s, with his songs providing the soundtrack to so many teenage memories. From his first songwriting hit 'For Your Love' recorded by The Yardbirds in 1965, through catchy tunes and lyrics for The Hollies and Herman's Hermits in the '60s, a decade of hits with 10cc in the '70s and early '80s, songwriting partnerships with Kirsty MacColl, Suggs from Madness, Andrew Gold, Gary Burr, Tim Rice and – still contributing to those teenage soundtracks – co-writing with McFly on their Number One album Wonderland.
