From The Jam

From The Jam, featuring former The Jam bassist Bruce Foxton and Russell Hastings, bring their acoustic tour to Artrix.

Bruce and Russell will be performing a selection of songs from The Jam's extensive back catalogue and songs from Bruce's new album Back In The Room as well as handing over the microphone to the audience for a question and answer session.

"We played some acoustic shows earlier this year and it was a revelation how well the songs work acoustically" says Bruce. "It's a testament to a good song that they have stood the test of time and don't need a full band and big production in order to work so well."

Audiences can expect to hear classics such as Down In The Tube Station At Midnight, Going Underground, Town Called Malice and The Modern World as well as favourites including Strange Town, When You're Young and Start. Bruce and Russell will also perform songs from Back In The Room which was released in 2012 to great acclaim.
