A Short History of Long Drinks and How They Changed the World

If you have ever wondered what politics, history and cocktails have in common then join Fever-Tree’s Craig Harper and a number of special guests from the worlds of gin, rum and tequila for a fascinating seminar on the complicated history of some of the most iconic long drink serves, and how they defined the course of modern cocktail culture.

The seminar will cover everything from how the first and only cure for malaria turned into one of the world’s most popular cocktails - the celebrated G&T - to the lesser-known political intrigue that surrounds the Cuba Libre’s origins. Learn how the Moscow Mule was responsible for popularising vodka in the US and how a scotch whisky and ginger ale came to be called a Mamie Taylor.

Craig and his panel will then ask you to join the debate as they discuss the future of the humble long drink, and what iconic serve could be next in influencing the course of history.
