Troubadour Fridays: Flight Brigade + Ward-Thomas
'Ward-Thomas' is a Country Music duo with a twist - twin girls born and raised in England with their own take on New Country - and they're causing a bit of a stir in Nashville. Music City heavy-weight Chris Rodriguez (Keith Urban, Kelly Clarkson, Shania Twain) is currently producing the album that is already being called the 'freshest idea in country - period'. The 18-year-olds will be playing several cuts off of the album with their band.

"Astonishing" - Janice Long, BBC Radio 2. Flight Brigade are an alternative rock collective formed by lead singer Oliver Baines, his wife Miriam and her sister Dorry. With solid song-writing and lyrical poignancy, their music is 'sprawling and majestic' whilst maintaining both 'fragility and beauty' - qualities which translate to their performance. 'It's incredibly rare to have such strength and self-restraint in a live show' (Supajam/Gibson Guitars, May '12).
