Stories
Stories unites five London instrumentalists, together creating emotionally charged music full of nifty melodies, fruity harmony and propulsive grooves. Led by drummer/composer Simon Roth, the band also features Joe Murgatroyd on clarinet/bass clarinet, Laura Jurd on trumpet, Joe Wright on saxophones/electronics, and James Opstad on double bass. Roth's compositions draw on influences such as Louis Sclavis, Amon Tobin, Ben Allison and Igor Stravinsky.
