Hypnotherapist Anna Weiss specialises in revealing 'lost' memories. She has assisted twenty-year-old Lynn in putting together 'remembering' memories of her childhood she would rather forget. When David, Lynn's father, is confronted about these pieces of their history he protests his innocence: 'I lie awake all night, I relive every single moment since she was born, and there's nothing there. There's nothing there'.
After the success of their first production On Love KiteHigh present Mike Cullen's Anna Weiss at East London's The Space. Written in the '90s when court cases on False Memory Syndrome were rife, this play is as relevant now as it was then; it asks how much power can an individual hold over another's mind.
