Silent Opera

Silent Opera’s new production Live / Revive / Lament, allows you to experience your own love story. The production is inspired by the music of Monteverdi and features three, short, operatic installations: Live explores the joy of new love; Revive, the complications and deep-seated doubts; and Lament, the aftermath of love.

Three performers - an actor, a dancer, and an opera singer - interpret the music, which combines electronic, live and pre-recorded material. Each performer begins in a different space, at a different part of the story, yet all three segments are performed simultaneously. The performers then progress to the next emotional state and place, until each performer has completed the cycle of the story.
