Julie Blackmon: Homegrown

Print Sales Gallery presents Julie Blackmon's first solo exhibition in the UK, Homegrown, the follow-up to her previously acclaimed series Domestic Vacations from 2008.

Homegrown (2009 - 2014) continues to explore Blackmon’s interest in both the harmony and disarray nature of everyday life. These are examined against the backdrop of American culture, in which consumerism and the unexpected human moments of everyday domestic life are captured with humour and whimsy.
