Since winning the Glastonbury New Act competition Canadian comedian Tony Law has become one of the most revered stand-ups on the circuit, winning the acclaim of both the critics and his peers. As testament to this Tony was honoured with the prestigious Comics' Choice 'Piece-of-Wood' Award at the 2005 Melbourne Comedy Festival. The cheerfully absurd humour that Law knocks around into a jazzy, freeform shape has endeared him to both live and TV audiences in the UK and abroad. He's a regular face at the UK's biggest comedy clubs, and a favourite at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Crowned Comedy Cafe New Act of the Year in 2009, Ben hosted the prestigious Big Value Comedy Showcase at the Edinburgh festival in 2012.
