Dame Cleo Laine

Dame Cleo Laine is the only female performer to have received Grammy nominations in the jazz, popular and classical music categories. With a multi-octave voice, incredible scatting ability, and ease of transition from a throaty whisper to high-pitched trills, she is still the first lady of Jazz. Her prolific career has seen her play all over the world from English dance halls to London's Royal Albert Hall, Carnegie to the Blue Note Cafe.
