Human Brain: How We See And How We Talk.

Professor Julie Daniels who is the founder and director of the Cells for Sight Stem Cell Therapy Research Unit based at UCL Institute of Ophthalmology & Moorfields Eye Hospital, will talk about the therapeutic potential of stem cells in order to develop and deliver novel cell-based therapies to patients suffering from blinding ocular surface disorders. Dr Joseph Devlin from the Cognitive, Perceptual and Brain Sciences department of UCL investigates how human brains produce and understand language. In his talk he will talk about transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) a new method non-invasive method which can be used to map language abilities of the human brain.
