Miles Jupp

Back in 2006, suddenly finding himself disillusioned with acting and comedy,former Perrier ward nominee Jupp decided to pack it all in and pursue a new dream of becoming a cricket journalist. After pulling a few strings and telling some little lies, he headed off to India in the company of the English press pack, under-prepared and under-qualified, to embark on what turned out to be a month-long, sun-soaked disaster (with the occasional minor triumph).

This is the sorry tale of how a man attempted to become a cricket journalist by the unlikely, ill-thought out and dishonest method of pretending to be one.
