Jeremy Loops (29) is a folk musician from Cape Town, South Africa. Winner of the 2013 MK Male Solo Artist of the Year award his career has been built on a strong live act, supported by rapper Motheo Moleko and multi-instrumentalist James Faull. Their strong live performance has been validated with a nomination for Best Live Act at the 2013 and 2014 MK Awards, as well as repeat invitations to Southern Africa's major music festivals, namely Rocking The Daisies, Oppikoppi, Splashy Fen, Bushfire, Up The Creek and more.

Jeremy's music is steeped in folk, with traces of hip hop, Balkan, jazz, rock, and house influences sprinkled liberally. Early commercial successes include the songs 'Mission To The Sun' and 'Power', both of which were playlisted on major South African radio stations, even though he has no album out.
