Bonnie Dobson

She was bracketed by Time magazine together with Joan Baez and Judy Collins as the 3 top female folk singers in America.

Canadian born Bonnie Dobson has lived in the UK since the late '60s and had effectively retired (despite an appearance at Jarvis Cocker's Meltdown back in 2007) until she began recording a new album for our Hornbeam label in the summer of 2013. The album features a top, young UK folk rock band and is entitled Take Me For A Walk In The Morning Dew. It features a varied selection of old and new songs, including Morning Dew in a new arrangement. A release date is set for the 9th June 2014.

Bonnie is spectacular! She has a great voice and fantastic presence. A beautiful person. Robin Denselow who is a big fan and introduced us to Bonnie in the first place said: 'She is still an impressively original lady' (The Guardian).
