All Out For Cricket In The City

Join The Sick Children’s Trust at The Honourable Artillery Company (HAC) in Moorgate, London, for an afternoon of live cricket where The SCT (Sick Children’s Trust) Team will take on The Authors Cricket Club.

The SCT Team will include former England cricketer and Strictly Come Dancing star Mark Ramprakash, who became one of the greatest first-class run-scorers of all time after beginning his professional career at 17. We also have the former England cricketer Alex Tudor and John Emburey who is one of England’s finest modern off spinners. Also joining us is the former England and Kent ‘Diamond’ Min Patel, English Actor Colin Salmon and Made in Chelsea star Stevie Johnson.

The Authors Cricket Club was founded at the turn of the twentieth century
and the team starred some of the greatest writers of the day, including PG
Wodehouse and Arthur Conan Doyle. Over a hundred years later, The Authors are playing again! The team, now captained by Charlie Campbell, consists of authors who all have a passion for and love of cricket, such as Sebastian Faulks.

The day will start at 2pm with the first innings of the match. There will be a break in play at around 4pm when afternoon tea will be served. The cricket will start again and should finish by 6.30pm. There will be a bouncy castle, face painter and games for all the family throughout the afternoon.
