Cowboy Hat and That Fuzzbox Voodoo was formed in May 2012 by Nigel Barker after 30 years of not playing a note of music. Injured in a car accident at the age of 23, Nigel was unable to use his left hand and had to sell most of his guitars and gear. Only in May 2011 did he discover that his left hand was working well enough to start playing again. He puts this down to 14-years riding a Harley Davidson with a heavy clutch. 18-months ago he owned one guitar...he now has 20. With a sound described as 'cinematic' and 'timeless', Cowboy Hat and that Fuzzbox Voodoo have found a sound which intrigues listeners with 'breathtakingly inventive lyrics.'
