Book Slam

New year, new writing - that's what we say. And Book Slam's kicking off 2015 with some of the finest new writing around.

Guests include the bestselling author of 'The Bone Season', Samantha Shannon, providing more tales of a dystopian future London in her second novel, 'The Mime Order', and winner of the 2013 Commonwealth Short Story prize, Eliza Robertson, reading from her brilliant debut collection, 'Wallflowers'.

Poetry comes from the colossus that is Longfella, broken balladry from the remarkable Brighton duo, Games, and comedy from our favourite half-pint, Felicity Ward.

The estimable Newham Books will be on hand to sell signed copies of the authors' books and other merchandise.
