Book Slam, London's best night of music, words and comedy takes to the stage at the historic Clapham Grand.
If you fancy a tickle, we plan to tickle your fancy with a line up that includes two of the smartest, funniest and all round most talented writers we know.
When not being one of our best known and most brilliant stand-up comedians, Mark Watson is a wonderfully gifted novelist and he'll introduce us to his latest, 'Hotel Alpha'. He has recently received a 5 star review from Time Out for his brilliant show at the Edinburgh Fringe.
Simon Rich was one of the youngest ever writers on 'Saturday Night Live' where he worked for four seasons. We first met him armed with his short stories, 'The Last Girlfriend On Earth', which will shortly become a sitcom, but tonight he'll read from his latest collection, 'Spoiled Brats'.
