Dying For It

Seymon is going to end it all… but his comrades have heard the news, and each is determined to persuade him to die for their cause.

From the writer of 2014 Olivier Award winner, Handbagged, comes this magnificent comedy set in 1920s Soviet Russia. Moira Buffini has freely adapted Nikolai Erdman’s The Suicide, a play banned in the USSR by Stalin, and now regarded as one of the greatest plays of the Communist era.

Director Daniel Brennan returns to The Jack with The Actor Works Company. Giving actors hands-on experience of producing, staging and marketing, the company helps actors to create their own work, whilst bringing first class and accessible theatre to their audiences.
