Exit Calm + Sulk
After two years spent writing and recording, Exit Calm are back with a new single, 'The Rapture', to be released in February 2013 alongside a headline UK tour.
Recent live shows have seen the debut of the modern-baggy-meets-grunge anthem blow out of 'The Rapture'; the breakbeat-tinged fury of 'Albion' and the melodic, Bunnymen groove of 'Fiction'. 'The Rapture' will be a limited vinyl 7" release on the Club AC30 imprint.

In the current era of disposable heroes, this mesmerizing four-piece tread a different path, from a band who simply list their influences as three legendary record labels, the bands output invokes the same classic approach to music as Creation Records. They bring the euphoria and hedonism of Factory to the progressive, with the forward thinking ideals of Mo Wax, producing music with heart, style and integrity.

Under the rainy skies of London, the shining sounds of Britpop, Shoegaze and Psychedelia are back in bloom. Locked up in the back room of an east end gallery stirring up 90s inspired sonic harmonies, this five-piece’s influences are less worn on their sleeves, than branded on their hearts. Bands such as The Stone Roses, Suede, Pulp and The Verve are wholly evident, but this isn't nostalgia for old time’s sake. Sulk mix what came before, and what’s yet to come into crushing waves of beauty, honesty and anthemic bliss for a whole new generation.
