Confirmed Artists: London based music sensation Brooke Sharkey and rising star Don Mercy.

An intimate evening of live music and performance to pay tribute artists who have lost their battle with cancer. Covering tracks from late musicians such as George Harrison, Lhasa de Sela, Bob Marley, Eva Cassidy, and many more, alongside their own work.

Accompanying the music will be a spoken word performance, giving an earthy twist to a modern cabaret.

Brooke Sharkey

Brooke Sharkey has spent most of her life in London and France. She writes gypsy and blues inspired folk ballads in both languages, contrasting cotton wool folk melodies with strong and soulful vocals throughout her songs. Brooke Sharkey’s lyrics are emotional ponderings about relationships and life, its struggles and indeed its glories. Words and melodies contain hauntingly poetic imagery strongly influenced by her time spent in France and her keen passion for travel, flitting between chanson and traditional English folk with a plethora of genres fused in-between. The end results form debut album 'One Dress', released December 2012.
