The World At Their Feet: Nat The Hammer + Dave J Giles + Paul Mosley + My Mate George
The aim is to raise £1,000 to send two Millennium Stars players, aged 17-20, from Liberia, for a football trial in Nigeria in September 2012. Millennium Stars FC formed in 1997 during the Liberian civil war. Football enabled them to distance themselves from the horrors of war and avoid being forced to become child soldiers. Playing football and coaching young players continues to give them a sense of worth and a way to contribute to shaping a vision for Liberia’s new peace-time identity through doing what they do best: play football.
Dave J Giles
Essex born singer-songwriter who is perhaps best known as the guitarist for the underground indie band The Rileys. Now solo, Dave has developed his own brand of largely acoustic folk-rock. His debut release 'The First Seven EP' contains both acoustic and full band versions of the first seven songs he wrote.
