TS Eliot Prize Readings: Ian McMillan
Hear the poets shortlisted for the 2012 TS Eliot Prize read from their collections, in what has become one of the most loved and spell-binding events of the literary calendar. The poets are Simon Armitage, Sean Borodale, Gillian Clarke, Julia Copus, Paul Farley, Jorie Graham, Kathleen Jamie, Sharon Olds, Jacob Polley and Deryn Rees-Jones.

Ian McMillan
Ian McMillan has been a poet, broadcaster, commentator and programme maker for over 20 years; he is a surreal and spontaneous performer who is enjoyed by all. Perhaps best known for being Barnsley FC's Poet in Residence and Yorkshire TV's Investigative Poet,
Ian is also Humberside Police's Beat Poet - the world's first poet-in-residence with a police force - where he amasses a lively collection of poems and perspectives from the police and their clients.
