Jean 'Binta' Breeze
Known as 'the one woman festival', Jean 'Binta' Breeze began recording her poetry with reggae produced by poet Mutaburaka in Kingston, Jamaica, before coming to Britain to join her contemporaries. Recognized as the first woman to write dub poetry, she has published four collections, released three recordings and has written for the stage and screen.
