Zais

Celebrating Rameau's 250th Anniversary, the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment takes to the Queen Elizabeth Hall stage for the first ever British performance of Zais.

Conducted from a new edition of the score by Rameau expert Jonathan Williams and featuring brand new Baroque choreography from Edith
Lalonger's Parisian dance troupe, this is also the first time Zais has been
performed anywhere in the world for almost 50 years.

This performance unites Rameau's music with the beautiful
Baroque dance steps for which it was composed and is set to be a landmark in British opera performance.
