A play for 11-year-olds, or anyone who has ever been 11. A Theater Artemis production in association with the Egg, Bath, Prime is funny, entertaining, full of detailed observation, humanity and hope - plus a nostalgic dose of The Carpenters, Bryan Adams, Mariah Carey and The Bangles.

When a group of friends attend a party, the first without their parents, a cataclysmic event occurs, which changes the course of their lives forever.

A huge success all over Europe, Prime takes the audience on a rollercoaster journey, from its surprising and comical start to its cutting finale. Think Lord of the Flies, think Mike Leigh, think The Hunger Games. This production was created by the eight young actors in rehearsals, after recalling who they were at 11 years old.
