Coalition: Thom Tuck, Jo Caulfield, Jessica Regan, Phil Mulryne, Alistair Barrie, John Dorney, Phill Jupitus
Coming to the Pleasance London after its smash hit Edinburgh run, COALITION charts the final days of Lib Dem Leader Matt Cooper, in this fast-moving comedy satire about modern politics.
It's early 2015 and Britain's coalition government has only a few months left to run. The Conservative Prime Minister and his Lib Dem Deputy haven't spoken for months, the economy has flat-lined and government MPs are threatening to defect right, left and centre. Lib Dem leader Matt Cooper has to make a series of last, desperate gambles to save the party he loves.
Thom Tuck
An actor and comedian known for being one third of comedy troupe The Penny Dreadfuls.

Jo Caulfield
Graham Norton's writer and warm-up artiste, co-founder of the 'Hampstead Clinic' comedy club. She is regular performer at the Comedy Store and on The Stand Up Show. Jo won a BAFTA award in 2003 for her part in the Channel 4 'V Graham Norton' show.
Dubbed 'funniest woman in Britain', she lives up to the title with razor-sharp wit, acerbic observations and scandalous one-liners, all excellently written and impeccably delivered.
'Sharp-witted, urban comedy that goes down a treat. Like a sociology textbook, but with jokes' (The Times).
'Incapable of doing a bad show, so sharp is her tongue and so in tandem is it with her mischievous mind' (The Scotsman)
'... one of the finest female comics' (The Observer).

Alistair Barrie
Much in demand as an act, Alistair Barrie has forged a reputation for himself as one of the top comperes to emerge in recent years. His deceptively friendly and engaging stage presence masks a sharp, dry wit which can be turned to subjects as diverse as suicide bombers in the Middle East to the perils of flying EasyJet. Despite a fondness for topical material, any performance is likely to be peppered with some inspired silliness and a little audience-related improvisation.

Phill Jupitus
This popular stand-up and TV comedian is well-known for his appearances on the pop music quiz show Never Mind The Buzzcocks. His career as a performer began in 1984 when he quit his job as a civil servant to follow a new direction as a performance poet on the alternative comedy circuit and supporting bands such as The Style Council and The Housemartins. During the late '80s he worked with Billy Bragg, directing videos for both Bragg and Kirsty MacColl. Phill has an abiding love and in-depth knowledge of popular music, particularly ska, bluebeat and rhythm & blues. His hugely successful standup tours have included Jedi, Steady, Go and Quadrophobia, and he has worked extensively on radio, variously as a contributor, panellist and presenter. He has also toured as part of The Blockheads line-up.
