North Carolina metal 5-piece who take their name from a line in the Counting Crows song 'Ghost Train'. Since 2000, the band's career has taken them through five dark albums of intense anthems. Their most recent, 2009's 'The Great Misdirect' was described by some as sounding like "the Mars Volta with Queen chromatic build up and Megadeth choruses". From thrash to death metal with bass growls and heavy guitar riffs, Between The Buried & Me are unlikely to remain underground stars.
