Following the highly successful gold album 'Up On The Roof' released on Sony Music in 2011, The Drifters are back on the road in the UK performing both the classic hits from the last six decades and their superb new material.
The Drifters
As one of the longest serving bands in history, The Drifters have collated a huge catalogue of over 50 hits, selling in excess of 214 million singles and 114 million albums across the world. Since their creation, the line up of The Drifters has undergone many changes with more than 60 different singers, including icons such as Clyde McPhatter, Ben E King, Johnny Moore and Rudy Lewis. The Drifters perform a selection of gems from their treasure trove of hits from the last 60 years, which include 'Saturday Night At The Movies', 'Under The Boardwalk', 'Come On Over To My Place', 'Kissing In The Back Row Of The Movies', 'Save The Last Dance For Me' and 'There Goes My First Love', as well as their new material. The current line-up is Pierre Herelle, Michael Williams, Ryan King and Carlton Powell.
